Post your poetry here! I'll start by posting mine! I'm warning you, I don't think they're good. I wrote these when I was 17 lol They're short and corny, I think. BUt I'll post them anyway....*blushes*
Tears
Tears fall when we feel sad
They might even fall when we're mad
We try to hold them back
That's something some of us lack
They fall when we don't want them to
Like when people are standing right in front of you
Tears fall when pain gets in the way
Or when we don't know what to say
Tears even fall from the sky
Because that's what happens when angels cry

Friends
A friend is someone who shows they care
A friend is someone who's always there
They'll cheer you up if you're blue
Even if you don't want them to
A friend believes in you
A friend is always true
So don't let your friends slip away
Because someday, you might pay
If sometimes you don't know how to deal

Love is something you can't describe
Love is something you feel inside
